Life Size Operation Game
Age: 16
Inspiration: http://www.instructables.com/id/Life-Size-Operation-Game/ and my dad's friend
Purpose: A cool way to play the classic board game Operation
Significance: Not a very complex project, but it aided a friend and presented some interesting design challenges because of the size and nature of the project.
This project was made for a family friend's school's party and to my knowledge it was a great hit. The project, when completed, featured appropriately sized game pieces that were to be pulled from each of the man's slots using metallic grill tongs. If the tongs touched any of the aluminum linings around any of the slots, the man's red nose would shine, a buzzer would go off, and the lights inside the particular slot would flash for a couple of seconds before resetting, allowing the player to continue playing. This twist on a classic game was a collaboration between my dad and I and is one project that is sure to be pulled out for any future parties.
